Key Feature: Everything is Editable

All headings and values in the invoice are fully editable. You can customize any section according to your needs. For example, if you want to add payment details, simply edit the "Ship To" section heading to "Payment Details" and fill in the relevant information in the text fields below.

This comprehensive guide will walk you through every section of the invoice generator, helping you create professional invoices efficiently. Each section is designed to be flexible and customizable to meet your specific business needs.

1. Company Information Section

Company Logo

Upload your company logo to brand your invoices professionally. You can position it left, center, or right, and adjust its size by dragging the corners.

Company Name

Click on the company name field to edit it. This appears prominently at the top of your invoice.

Contact Details

Add your business address, phone number, and email. Each line is editable - simply click and type your information.

2. Invoice Details Section

Invoice Number

Assign a unique invoice number for tracking. The system auto-generates numbers, but you can edit them as needed.

Invoice Date

Set the date when the invoice is issued. Click on the date field to select from a calendar.

Due Date

Specify when payment is due. This helps establish clear payment terms with your clients.

3. Bill To Section

Customization Tip: The "Bill To" heading is editable. You can change it to "Client Details", "Customer Information", or any other label that fits your business.

Client Name/Company

Enter your client's name or company name. This field is prominently displayed and fully editable.

Billing Address

Add the complete billing address. Each line can be edited independently to accommodate different address formats.

Contact Information

Include phone numbers, email addresses, or any other relevant contact details.

4. Ship To Section (Optional & Customizable)

Flexible Usage: This section can be repurposed for various needs. Change "Ship To" to "Payment Details", "Project Information", "Terms & Conditions", or any other relevant information for your business.

Enable/Disable

Use the "Add Ship To" button in the sidebar to show or hide this section as needed.

Custom Heading

Click on the "Ship To" heading to edit it. Popular alternatives include "Payment Details", "Delivery Address", or "Additional Information".

Content Fields

All text fields below the heading are editable. Use them for addresses, payment instructions, or any relevant details.

5. Items & Services Section

Table Headers

Column headers like "Description", "Qty", "Rate" are all editable. Customize them to match your business needs (e.g., "Hours", "Unit Price", "Service").

Adding Items

Click "Add Item" to create new rows. Each row includes description, quantity, rate, and automatically calculated amount.

Item Details

Description: Detailed explanation of the product or service
Quantity: Number of units or hours
Rate: Price per unit
Amount: Automatically calculated (Qty × Rate)

Removing Items

Use the trash icon on each row to remove unwanted items from your invoice.

7. Calculations & Summary

Subtotal

Automatically calculated sum of all item amounts. Updates in real-time as you add or modify items.

Discount Calculations

Four calculation methods available:

  • Per Item %: Discount each item by percentage
  • Per Item Fixed: Subtract fixed amount from each item
  • Total %: Discount subtotal by percentage
  • Total Fixed: Subtract fixed amount from subtotal

Shipping Calculations

Multiple shipping calculation options:

  • Per Item %: Calculate shipping as % of each item
  • Per Item Fixed: Add fixed shipping per item
  • Total %: Calculate shipping as % of subtotal
  • Total Fixed: Add flat shipping rate

Tax Calculations

Comprehensive tax calculation methods:

  • Per Item %: Tax each item individually by percentage
  • Per Item Fixed: Add fixed tax amount per item
  • Total %: Apply tax percentage to subtotal (standard)
  • Total Fixed: Add flat tax amount to total

Final amount including all calculations. Prominently displayed and automatically updated.

Two signature methods available: upload an existing signature image file, or use the built-in drawing tool to create and capture a digital signature directly in your browser.
